FAQ + Forever Jewelry Policy

Q: What is forever jewelry?

Forever jewelry is a custom bracelet or anklet sized just for you and welded together. These are also known as permanent jewelry because they are claspless. You won’t take it on and off but it can be removed with scissors if need be. 

Q: What are the material options?

Hearten Co. offers 14k gold, gold-filled and sterling silver options. Our charms are 14k gold, 14k white gold, and gold-filled.

Q: Do you take walk-ins? 

At Pop-Ups and Markets, appointments are highly recommended to guarantee sufficient time for your forever jewelry experience. We do take walk-ins, but there may be a wait and not all chains and charms may be available. 

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

We know life happens and things may change. We are happy to reschedule your appointment. Please let us know 24 hours in advance to your appointment time. Unfortunately, if you don’t reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment, your deposit will be non-refundable. Failure to appear for your appointment without giving any notice, your deposit will also become non-refundable.

Q: What is a deposit (individual appointment)?

A deposit ensures commitment for both parties. We ask for a $40 deposit at time of booking which will be credited to the final price of the jewelry (ie - if the jewelry you choose is $150, $40 deposit will be deducted from the total with the remaining balance of $110.) Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours notice. 

Q: Do you take group appointments/ private parties?

Yes! Please email us at dear.hearten.co@gmail.com with the inquiry and we will be in touch with you to confirm the appointment. Please include: Name, Date, Time, # of people, # of total bracelets or anklets, and special occasions (if celebrating anything!).

Q: Can I get my bracelet/anklet removed? 

You can use scissors, wire cutters, or pliers to cut your jewelry. 

Q: What should I do when my jewelry breaks?

Notify us as soon as the breakage happens and how it happened along with a photo. We offer complimentary repairs that are needed by the closure within the first 30 days. A small fee of $15 is required for gold-filled & sterling silver repairs or misuse if it’s fixable. If the bracelet/anklet has broken in too many places or has become stretched because of improper use, unfortunately, we won’t be able to fix the jewelry. Bracelets put on by other establishments require a $30 fee for repair plus the material fee. For solid gold bracelets/anklets, a fee will need to be estimated accordingly. 

Q: How old do you have to be to get forever jewelry?

We accept clients from the age of 14 and up. We ask that people aged 14-18 come with a legal guardian. 

Q: Do you take multiple appointments at once?

We are happy to take a group appointment, but please keep in mind that we are a one person operated company. We will zap one client at a time. Feel free to bring your own drinks to enjoy while waiting!

Q: Will forever jewelry affect when going through airport security? 

You won’t need to remove the chains we use when going through the TSA .

Q: Will you be able to fix a forever jewelry from another designer? 

Yes, we would be happy to repair jewelry from another designer. Please contact us with details, photos and the original price and we will evaluate how we can repair it. 

Q: Can I charm a bracelet I got from another place? 

Yes, please send photos and materials of the jewelry you currently have so we can make sure that the pieces will be cohesive.

  • Rescheduling is available as long as we are notified through email  24 hours prior to the appointment time. Your deposit will transfer towards your new appointment time.
  • We request a $40 deposit to book the time (30min) that you desire. The deposit will go towards the final cost of the jewelry. Failure to show up to your appointment time without prior communication will result in your deposit becoming non refundable.
  •  We have a grace period of 10 minutes, however, you won’t be able to add more time if we have a client in the next slot. If there is time available, we would be happy to accommodate the make up time. Please communicate through Instagram DM or email as soon as possible when you’re running late.  Clients who arrive at their appointment more than 15 minutes late and without prior communication are subject to cancellation at our discretion. Deposit becomes non refundable and you will need to make another appointment with a new deposit. 
  • All waivers must be signed prior to your appointment. Refusal to sign a waiver will result in your appointment being canceled and your deposit becoming non refundable. 
  • We do not provide permanent jewelry to anyone under the age of 14. People under 18 must come to their appointment with a legal guardian along with the signed waiver form. 
  • Hearten Co. employees have the right to refuse services at any point. Refunds are not guaranteed. Circumstances may include but are not limited to; failure to act appropriately, arriving at appointment under the influence of substances, inappropriate attire or language, creating an unsafe environment for the service to be performed.
